GO KAIST : Global Opinion on Semi-Centennial of KAIST
KAIST Vision 2031 pivots to focus on creating global value. To help better realize this vision, KAIST invited 37 esteemed scholars to assess where we stand and where our future potential lies ahead. The panel will evaluate all research and departments activities. The white paper on the assessment will be released in February 2021.
The assessment criteria for the department will be:
- Innovation Strategy
- Innovation in Education
- Excellence and Impact of Research
- Future Potential
- Societal Impact/ Entrepreneurial Capacity
- Recommendation for the Future
The panel will evaluate the following seven fields of research activities:
- AI
- Bio/Healthcare
- Energy/Environment/Nano convergence
- IT convergence
- Robotics/Space/SOC
- Social/Cultural technology
- Basic science
