I am pleased to know that KAIST is celebrating its 50th anniversary and would like to extend my sincere congratulations on reaching such an important milestone.
KAIST has been an impressive pioneer as the first and leading university in science and technology in Korea. Throughout the years, Stanford University and KAIST have had many academic exchanges between our faculty and students with the shared goal of advancing knowledge that can benefit all of humanity, and I hope there will be many more opportunities for such exchanges in the future.
I wish you and your community well, and once again, congratulations on the impressive achievement of KAIST’s 50th anniversary.
