Recruitment of EFL Visiting Professor

Full Time Visiting Professor in Daejeon, South Korea

Type: Full Time - Experienced

The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) is hiring visiting professors to teach accredited English as a foreign language (EFL) courses, such as English conversation, academic writing, and presentation to both undergraduate and graduate students. KAIST is world-renowned and is Korea"s most prestigious higher institution in the field of science and technology, educating Korea"s brightest students and equally capable international students to become highly qualified scientists and engineers. KAIST teaches the majority of classes in English; therefore, great emphasis is placed on English language education. The school is located in Daedeok Innopolis, Korea"s Silicon Valley, arguably the most desirable place to live in Korea, and offers a variety of amenities as well as plentiful
green spaces.


Responsibilities
16 teaching hours and 12 office hours per week
 
Salary: US $25,000-40,000 per year (negotiable)

Requirements:
Qualification
1. Masters in TESOL/TEFL/Applied Linguistics or related field
2.Priority given to applicants with teaching experiences at science and technology schools, in the area of writing or science writing, and/or using e-learning technologies.
