The US National Academy of Inventors and Intellectual Property Owners Association have just released a list of top universities worldwide, which filed the highest number of patents in the US last year. KAIST has ranked 39th with 59 patents. A total of three institutions from Korea made the list, including KAIST (114 patents) and Seoul National University’s R&DB Foundation (57 patents).
